Mirror Links: Why They Circulate in India, and Why We Publish None

Searches for a "Gamemania mirror" from India usually follow a blocked address or a message offering a new link. This page explains what mirror links are, why they circulate and why we do not publish any.

What a mirror is

A mirror is a copy of a website at another address. Offshore gambling sites use them to stay reachable after an address is blocked. To a visitor, a genuine mirror and a fraudulent copy look exactly the same.

Blocking and the 2025 Act

Under the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act 2025, online money games have been prohibited in India since 1 May 2026, and MeitY can order access to them to be blocked. A mirror that exists to get around a block is, by design, a way of offering a prohibited service to users in India. Sharing such links to promote the service sits uncomfortably close to the advertising and promotion the Act prohibits.

How fake mirrors work

Fraudsters copy a site's design, register a similar address and spread it through chats, social media and advertisements, often with an urgent message that the "old site" has moved. Visitors log in and hand over their details, or deposit through a new "agent". The money and the account are gone, and because the original site operates outside Indian law, there is nobody domestic to complain to.

Why we publish no mirrors

We cannot verify that any alternative address belongs to an operator, and publishing one would expose readers to fraud and to a service that is prohibited in India. Our pages contain no casino addresses at all.

If you have already used a mirror

• Change the password, and any other account where you reused it.
• Turn on two-factor authentication on email and banking.
• Check your bank and payment app for unfamiliar transactions.
• If money has been taken, contact your bank immediately and report it to your state's cyber cell.
