Variable reels, explained
Traditional reels always show the same number of symbols. In a Trueways game each reel shows a different number on each spin, perhaps two on one reel and seven on the next. Wins are counted as matching symbols on neighbouring reels from the left, in any position, and the number of possible combinations is the product of the symbols showing on each reel. A short layout might allow a few hundred ways, a tall one tens of thousands. The stake does not change with the layout.
Why that makes play streaky
Most of the time the layout is unremarkable and wins are small. Occasionally the reels are tall, the combinations multiply and a spin pays well. Those occasional spins are memorable, and memory is selective: people recall the tall-reel win and forget the long run of ordinary spins that paid for it. That is how a perfectly random game ends up feeling as if it "warms up" or "goes cold". It does neither. Each spin is independent, and the average cost is fixed by the game's return setting.
The cost, illustrated
We do not have a published return figure for this title, so take 96 percent purely as an illustration. At that rate, a session of three hundred ₹20 spins puts ₹6,000 through the game and costs about ₹240 on average. A streaky game can turn that average into a much larger loss in a single session, which is why gambling budgets built around "one more tall spin" tend to fail.
What the rules screen would tell you
For anyone studying the design, the game's rules explain the maximum reel height, the role of the wild and what triggers free spins. Many variable-reel games add features during free spins, but we have not confirmed this game's feature list, so we do not describe one.
