About This Guide: Games First, Claims Last
gamemaniacasino.net is an independent information site about the games in the Gamemania catalogue. It is not the operator, it does not offer games, accept deposits or hold accounts, and it does not speak for the operator. The site exists to help a reader in Canada understand what a slot is doing before they decide whether to play it at all.
Why a site about mechanics
Casino marketing tends to talk about speed, safety and generosity, all of which are hard for a reader to verify and easy to overstate. Our sources
Facts about games come from the studios' own pages; when the provider page does not confirm something, our page says so. Facts about Canadian rules come from public sources such as iGaming Ontario's player information and federal law, and we note the date they were read, because rules change. Descriptions of a game's appearance come from the official game tile. We do not use forum rumours, screenshots from strangers or figures from other affiliate sites.
What we never publish here
- Bonus offers or codes: Ontario's internet gaming standards prohibit public advertising of inducements, including by affiliates, and we apply that approach across the country.
- Deposit and withdrawal guides: methods and limits depend on your account.
- Ratings or scores, and claims that any operator is licensed or safe.
- Testimonials attributed to named players.
Who writes the pages
The game pages and the mechanics guide are written by Elliot Brodeur, our slot mechanics editor. Other pages, such as this one and the legal pages, are written and maintained by the site's small editorial team. We do not invent credentials for anyone.
How the site is funded
Buttons on our pages are partner links. If a reader opens an account through one, the site may receive a commission. That arrangement does not change what we write about a game, and it is explained in full in our affiliate disclosure.
Keeping pages current
The partner's game list changes from time to time, and studios update their pages. When either happens, the affected pages are revised and their dates change. If you spot something out of date, write to info@gamemaniacasino.net; reader corrections are one of the most useful sources we have.
