About Elliot
Elliot Brodeur is the editor responsible for the game pages on this site. His focus is narrow by choice: how slots are put together. Paylines and ways, cluster grids, respin rounds, multipliers and the volatility that ties them together. The aim of every page he writes is that a reader in Canada can open a game, find the right screen and understand what it says, without relying on marketing copy or on anyone's promise.
He is not a lawyer, an auditor or a former casino employee, and the site does not present him as one. Where a page touches provincial rules, the facts come from public sources such as iGaming Ontario's player pages, with the date they were read.
How Elliot reviews a slot
Every game page starts from the studio's own documentation. If the provider page confirms the studio, the layout or an RTP figure, it can appear on our page; if it does not, the page says "not confirmed" instead of filling the gap. RTP is quoted only when a provider publishes it, and always with a reminder that operators may run a different setting. Descriptions of a game's look come from the game tile itself. Speculation from a title, for example that a number in the name refers to paylines, is labelled as speculation.
What he will not write
- Claims that an operator is licensed, safe or fast; readers can verify regulation themselves.
- Bonus offers or promotional codes, which the site does not publish in Canada.
- Win strategies, "hot" or "due" games, or predictions of any kind.
- Testimonials or reviews attributed to named players.
